Quick Review

The 2013 Land Rover LR2 has seen a new engine, a 2.0L Turbo charged engine replacing the 3.2L naturally aspirated engine. In addition, there are styling updates, particularly interior that make this a class act among upmarket 5 seater SUVs.

The drive is great for on-road and gravel driving, though not the most suitable for dune bashing. It handles extremely well and there is minimal body roll. For gravel, there is a special terrain management system that improves suspension and adjusts the car to handle conditions very well.

The interior as all the amenities one can expect from a premium British brand. High quality finishing, dual zone moon roof and seamless Bluetooth connectivity are noted hallmarks.

Fuel consumption is high in this SUV, averaging around 20L / 100 km in our tests. Also the navigation system is not the most user-friendly. Despite being a premium luxury SUV the price tag is another reason to check other competitors in the market.
