Planning to buy a used car? An unreliable used car can mean lots of unplanned expenses, not to mention accident risks. So how do you evaluate a car's reliability? JD Power, a specialist consulting firm based in United States has released it's latest car reliability ratings. These ratings are based on surveys conducted with 41,000 original owners of cars who have driven their vehicle for at least 3 years. The surveys ask about problems arising in the last three years and any unusual symptoms detected. Based on over 200 known issues already documented by JD Power, this is a valuable tool for car owners to help them decide their next used or pre-owned car. Ofcourse, this does not guarantee that any used car of the below models will be reliable as a lot depends on how the owner kept the car. However these rankings give a good indication of the cars that gave the least trouble on average to the 41,000 people who were surveyed.
