Quick Review

Introduced in 1995, the Honda Odyssey was almost completely redesigned in 2011 with an improved interior comfort and a more distinctive exterior style. Following last years’ redesign, the 2013 model remains fundamentally unchanged.

The American-built 5-door minivan is longer and wider than the previous versions as it is particularly aimed as big families. The 3.5 V6 FWD engine has 250 hp, and 343 Nm, a top speed of 187 kph and it can go from 0 to 100 kph in 9.2 seconds. You can choose from a 5-speed automatic version (LX and EXL models) or 6-speed automatic (Touring and MacPherson).

Some of the features of the 2013 Honda Odyssey include three rows of seating that offer enough space for up to eight passengers, optional rear DVD screen for movies or games with USB and HDMI ports, optional flash or hard drives for storing music, stability control, front and side airbags, cruise control, front and rear power windows, variable power steering, cool box, 15 bottle and cup holders and sunroof.

When compared to similar cars that include Kia Carnival for instance, the new Honda Odyssey distinguishes itself through its good handling, fair power and spacious cabin features.
