Quick Review

The Azera is Hyundai’s full size sedan, the big brother to the Hyundai Sonata. As usual Hyundai has produced a car that gives customers excellent value. The Azera which was last redesigned in 2011 is perhaps the best looking model in Hyundai’s range.

The 2011 Azera had a 3.0 liter engine whereas. The Azera has a 70 liter fuel tank and averages fuel economy of 10.22 L/100KM which is best in class.

Hyundai have equipped the Azera well with many features as standard including a 7 inch Bluelink telematics screen; reverse camera and heated front and rear seats. The interior is very sophisticated and made of quality leather (a rarity for a Hyundai). The Hyundai is relatively light, giving it a high power-to-weight ratio. Typical of Hyundai models the car is quite dull to drive: the steering is numb and is far from nimble. The six speed automatic transmission with manual shift control is delightfully smooth.

The Azera is perfect if you value the comfort of the interior more than the performance of the car. The Azera is very spacious in the front and rear making it ideal for families. This model is well worth investigating further if you wish to purchase a full size sedan.
