Quick Overview

The 2014 Infiniti M37 is a blend of traditional Japanese luxury and sportiness, a curvier and more rounded body than the opposition. Based on a longer version of the current Infiniti G37, it inherits a solid, sturdy platform that is both comfortable and one of the sportiest sedans on the market. While the Infiniti badge isn't as prestigious as its German counterparts, it offers a very different approach to luxury in this segment. The M37 faces stiff competition from the BMW 5-Series, Mercedes E-Class and its Japanese counterpart, the Lexus GS.

The M37 is not as striking to look at compared to its competitors, its more organic, smooth, has a tall stance and the curves makes the car look bigger than it is but feels very agile. The chassis itself comes from its smaller G37 brother and is derived off the Nissan 370Z -one of the best sporty and responsive chassis on the market- which makes for an exciting or relaxing drive no matter the road. Handling is dealt with superbly, even on the standard car and has a very decent ride. The M37 has a 3.7 Litre V6 that pumps out 330HP and 366NM of torque, mated to a newer 7-speed automatic gearbox, which can be both smooth and refined as well as sporty and very fast for its given size.

The interior of the M37 is very Japanese as soon as you step into it; the curves and rounded edges are present. While it may not look as modern or stylish as its rivals, it has all the technology and safety features to match them, while the standard equipment is more than generous. The materials used are of high quality, comes with very good build quality and feels very sturdy all while having solid reliability.
