The new 2013 Chevrolet Traverse recieves an interior and exterior makeover. The slightly boring rear end of the previous model has been upgraded to a more aggressive looking rear and does bear slight similarity to the Chevrolet Camaro. As for the front end, a new grille and extra bits of chrome give the car a more luxurious look.

The interior of the Traverse has been improved drastically. With soft touch materials, two-tone interior, ambient lighting and a touch screen infotainment system, it may be difficult for some to believe that it's a Chevrolet Traverse.

The 3.6L V6 engine prodcues 281 horsepower and 359 Nm. The engine is sufficient for a crossover the size of the Traverse and is extremely fuel efficient as well; making it the perfect car during times of rising fuel costs. Safety features include a blind spot monitoring system, side curtain airbags, stability control and a new front center airbag making the Traverse a great family car.

Competitors include the Ford Flex, Honda Pilot and Mitsubishi Pajero.
