2020 Nissan Sunny steals the spotlight at Dubai Motor Show

Nissan Sunny 2020

The Nissan Sunny is a popular car in the region and has been a roaring success for the brand with small families and businesses alike. The go-to car for those who are looking for something reliable yet affordable, the Sunny has never been one to be associated with fun or good looks, but that has changed with the reveal of the all-new 2020 model at the Dubai International Motor Show.

Thierry Sabbagh, Managing Director of Nissan Middle East, said: “Nissan Sunny is one of our flagship vehicles and we are thrilled to announce the debut of the all-new Nissan Sunny 2020 at the Dubai International Motor Show. Given the rising customer demands, we have heavily invested in the new model which will now appeal to a broader audience including the youth. The sleek design with added technology and safety features will make the all-new Nissan Sunny a popular choice in the B-sedan segment.”

Set to go on sale in March 2020, the new Sunny features lower, wider and longer exterior dimensions while retaining the roomy interior space its predecessors are known for. The Sunny is the latest in the makeover of Nissan's complete sedan lineup following the flagship Maxima and the new Altima. A few distinct exterior elements include the brand’s signature V-motion grille, boomerang-shaped headlamps and tail lamps, ascending C-pillars, and a floating roof.

Taking inspiration from its elder siblings, the interior also receives a thorough revamp and welcomes technologies such as a 7.0-inch infotainment screen, Bluetooth phone connectivity with wireless audio streaming, six speakers, and three USB outlets. While standard equipment includes front and rear power windows, speed-sensing auto door locks, and remote keyless entry, higher trims receive blind spot monitoring, an Around View Monitor, and Cruise Control.
