Chevrolet has launched the Blazer in the Middle East and fair to say, it looks quite the thing. The Blazer will be available in its red-hot RS trim for 2023 and with it, Chevrolet looks to offer “a practical crossover with sporty styling cues” coming from the Camaro.
The Blazer looks very futuristic with a new mesh-style grille and strong lines expressing the sporty intent of the car. The LED headlights and taillights have been upgraded for the 2023 model.
Under the bonnet, the Blazer has a 3.6L engine mated to a 9-speed transmission sending up to 308 horsepower either to the rear wheels or all four wheels, depending on the variant you choose.
Inside you will find a 10-inch centre touchscreen which stretches all the way till the dashboard. In terms of entertainment, the Blazer has the Bose Premium Speaker System.
Two new exterior colours, Radiant Red and Sterling Gray Metal, along with two new interior combinations, Jet Black with Red leather accents and Jet Black and Nightshift Blue with perforated leather-appointed seating.
Chevrolet’s Safety Assist Package comes as standard on the Blazer and includes tech like Following Distance Indicator, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning and IntelliBeam automatic high beams.
“The Chevrolet Blazer is a beloved nameplate across the Middle East, carving out a niche for the driver looking to transition to a practical, family car without having to compromise on sporty style and performance,” said Suzie Guzzo, Chief Marketing Officer, General Motors, Africa and Middle East.
“Refreshed for 2023, the Blazer levels up on technology that comes as standard and doubles down on the athletic looks and performance offered with the RS trim, delivering on what our local customers expect from an outstanding Chevrolet crossover,” he concluded.
