Speeding fines go on sale in RAK

Speeding fines issued in Ras Al Khaimah will be slashed in half in the coming 3 months. Police in RAK said that the discount will be starting from Sunday, August 18.

Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi,  member of the Federal Supreme Council and ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, ordered this reduction to make life easier for the public.

According to Brig Mohammad Al Noubi, deputy chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, this initiative would make it easier for drivers who have multiple violations.

Brig Al Noubi also noted that the discount will only apply to those who got fined after being caught by a radar camera within RAK, adding that all drivers with fines should take advantage of this reduction and pay their fines within the next 3 months  at any traffic department in the UAE.
