Hyundai to launch new compact SUV

Hyundai India is now planning to develop a new compact SUV to compete with Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster. The aim behind this move is to make Hyundai a full-fledged passenger vehicle manufacturer thus eliminating the gaps in its target market which are present now.
The compact SUV segment has been the target of manufacturers including Honda and Volkswagen as consumers are looking for cars which are higher, smaller and cheaper. Duster is pretty popular in the GCC as the cheapest crossover you can buy so its obvious others will follow suit.
