Attention, sports car lovers! Nissan has announced that the clever engineers of its NISMO division will be working their magic on the Z. Yes, a Nissan Z NISMO is just round the corner.
The Japanese carmaker released a 45 second teaser video which shows the Z NISMO being driven by Formula Drift champion Chris Forsberg. You guessed it, the video includes the Z NISMO sliding. It’s going to be an exciting car, isn’t it?
From the video, we can see that the spruced up Z will be getting the full NISMO body kit with front and rear splitters, upgraded Dunlop SP Sport Maxx summer tires and a new duckbill that extends over the wheel arches.
There’s no word regarding the power output yet but expect the Z NISMO to produce around 100 horsepower more than the standard car. Mind you, the Z’s twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 produces 400 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, which is plenty for a sports car.
Nissan has announced that more details shall be revealed later in the summer. Which means that we could see the Z NISMO later in 2023.
