Refund systems for parking meters now available in Dubai

Nol Card credit refunds is now available to motorists who have been overcharged for parking. They will be able to get their refunds directly from the parking meter after filing a complaint.
Adel Shakri, director of Transportation Systems, said that all the 3,400 parking meters in Dubai are already configured to recognize and credit Nol cards.
He also added "The RTA is making every endeavor to monitor and sign-off any complaints at the earliest time possible."
The complaint will be analyzed and validated after a customer calls 800 9090 to report they have been overcharged, then the Unified Card Department directly sends the information to the parking meter for the credit recovery. That being done, the customer can go to any parking meter to recover the credit.
Before this new procedure, customers had to file a complaint personally by visiting the customer service center to reclaim their missing credit.
